Careers at the Institute for Humanist Studies

Internships

The Institute for Humanist Studies (IHS) is dedicated to helping high school and college students learn more about humanism and the workings of a national and international advocacy organization. IHS has worked with colleges and schools in New York State's Capital District region to provide internships for college credit and is open to working with other institutions.

IHS has also provided non-credit internships and volunteer positions to students and others seeking work experience for a progressive cause.

Internships are usually unpaid, unless specific grant funding is available.

Possible areas of activity for interns include: public policy, communications, technology, and nonprofit administration.

If you are interested in interning or volunteering at IHS contact Judy Disco, our Director of Administration, using the information in the sidebar or by e-mail.

There are no employment opportunities at this time.

Even when the Institute for Humanist Studies has no openings, we welcome resumes to keep on file for future employment opportunities. Please send resumes and inquiries to Judy Disco, Director of Administration, using the contact info in the sidebar or by e-mail.
