Jennifer Lange, Legislative Liaison

Jennifer Lange is the Legislative Liaison for the Institute for Humanist Studies.

Lange lobbies the New York State Legislature on humanist issues like stem-cell research, reproductive freedom, and the separation of religion and government.

Before joining the IHS team, Lange worked as the legislative director for Assemblymember Sam Hoyt of Buffalo, N.Y.

Prior to her work in the Legislature, Lange served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. Her work included promoting family planning initiatives, working with agricultural and health Non-Governmental Organizations, and teaching English as a second language.

She earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University.

The Institute for Humanist Studies (IHS) promotes humanism, a nonreligious philosophy based on reason and compassion. Reproduction of IHS content is subject to terms of use. Website problems can be reported here.
